After 10 played minutes Dona Denise got a freekick which was hit by Ramón Paraense. In the 14th minute, Dona Denise's Cristóvão Lira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nicolas Eger. Nicolas Eger yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 20 minutes of play, Borrachos F.C.'s Raimundo Cosme made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joel Nascimento was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hudson de Amaral hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Fausto Esteves took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicolas Eger. Nicolas Eger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After a rather tough play, Borrachos F.C.'s Ezequiel Medeiros got a free kick in the 30th minute. If Danilo Capixaba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dona Denise's Danilo Capixaba got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fausto Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Borrachos F.C. getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Raimundo Cosme hit a great ball. If Fausto Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nicolas Eger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristóvão Lira, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 56th minute Fausto Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Eger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Cristóvão Lira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicolas Eger was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Joel Nascimento made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Clemente Varela sent off a good shot on target. Nicolas Eger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Esteves in the 96th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Dona Denise were the better team. Dona Denise's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
