Gualter Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Fiori Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedrinho Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fiori Duarte having to interfere. If Benjamin Lira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Fordlandia's Gualter Esteves in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Fiori Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrinho Paiva in the 38th minute of play. After some careless play in the Amorim FC defense, Gualter Esteves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fiori Duarte. The Amorim FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fiori Duarte should have stopped the shot. Fiori Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualter Esteves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Orlando de Alcântara to strike the kick off in the second half. Gualter Esteves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fordlandia's Pedrinho Paiva got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anísio Leão during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 58 played minutes Amorim FC got a freekick which was hit by Anísio Leão. A collision led to Amorim FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Percival Tróia hit a great ball. The supporters of Amorim FC booed when Fordlandia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedrinho Paiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amorim FC's Orlando de Alcântara got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amorim FC's Anísio Leão got his second yellow card of the match in the 74th minute. The referee ordered Anísio Leão off the ground. A collision led to Amorim FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Anísio Leão hit a great ball. Amorim FC's Fiori Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrinho Paiva in the 76th minute of play. In the 81st match minute, Amorim FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Percival Tróia to maneuver through the defense. Fiori Duarte acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 82nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Kiko Cardozo. When Fordlandia's Pedrinho Paiva, in the 84th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Fordlandia. Fordlandia's Gualter Esteves got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedrinho Paiva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fiori Duarte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. When %teams%'s Pedrinho Paiva was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 0-2 just inside the left pole, 89 minutes into the game. Fiori Duarte was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. After 94 played minutes Amorim FC got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Vinhas. Fordlandia's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
