With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fiori Duarte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fiori Duarte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juninho Pimenta's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. In the 15thth minute of the game Juninho Pimenta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amorim FC's Fiori Duarte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 18th minute Oliveira were awarded a corner. Pedro Paranaense went to the cornerflag to take it. Fiori Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mick Schumacher in the 35th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Anísio Leão in the 36th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Oliveira's Cristian Almeida. In the 37th minute, Vito Corleone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juninho Pimenta was the one to do the kick off. In the 81st minute, Cristian Almeida had to leave the field with a concussion. Thomás Vieira's late challenge caught a Oliveira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thomás Vieira helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Amorim FC's zone, Vito Corleone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fiori Duarte came out of the goal and Vito Corleone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 94 minutes, Mick Schumacher managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oliveira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mick Schumacher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Juninho Pimenta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Oliveira left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Amorim FC.
