After 6 played minutes Kûara FC got a freekick which was hit by Celsinho Castro. In the 8th minute Elder Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fiori Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elder Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Kûara FC booed when Amorim FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denílson Paranaense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fiori Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tales Tróia in the 15th minute of play. Thomás Vieira's late challenge caught a Kûara FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thomás Vieira helped the player get up and apologised. Kûara FC's Tales Tróia got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kûara FC's Elder Queirós got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fiori Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tales Tróia in the 22nd minute of the match. A collision led to Amorim FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Denílson Paranaense hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elder Queirós in the 25th minute of play forced Amorim FC's goalkeeper Fiori Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Kûara FC's zone, Orlando de Alcântara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diogo Nóbrega came out of the goal and Orlando de Alcântara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A wasted opportunity for Kûara FC. If Orlando de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Orlando de Alcântara to strike the kick off in the second half. Diogo Nóbrega took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando de Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diogo Nóbrega came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Amorim FC's Orlando de Alcântara. But to his dismay, Orlando de Alcântara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Kûara FC's Diogo Nóbrega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Rodrigues in the 61st minute of play. With a little luck, Amorim FC's Fiori Duarte got control of the ball when Elder Queirós tried to sneak it across the goal line. Diogo Nóbrega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando de Alcântara in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Kûara FC's Geovânio Pereira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fiori Duarte narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 69 played minutes Amorim FC got a freekick which was hit by Denílson Paranaense. Tales Tróia struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Fiori Duarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kûara FC. After having played for 79 minutes, Tales Tróia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kûara FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tales Tróia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Diogo Nóbrega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando de Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute.
