Fausto Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fausto Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 24th minute Dona Denise were awarded a corner. Cleiton Nogueira went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Cleiton Nogueira almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Amorim FC's Fiori Duarte did a great save. Fiori Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuca Batista in the 28th minute of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Fausto Esteves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dona Denise's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Esteves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute Samuca Batista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fiori Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Amorim FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! In the 43rd minute there was a penalty for Dona Denise. Cleiton Nogueira stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fiori Duarte. 1-2. When Fausto Esteves came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Dona Denise fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fausto Esteves couldn't finish the play. The Amorim FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Dona Denise were winning 1-2.

Samuca Batista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fiori Duarte having to interfere. Fiori Duarte didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 54th minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. Dona Denise's Fausto Esteves got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Samuca Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuca Batista blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fiori Duarte having to make a save. Fiori Duarte didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Dona Denise's Cristóvão Lira shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-4 in the ordered_time% minute. With a little luck, Amorim FC's Fiori Duarte got control of the ball when Fausto Esteves tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 80 minutes, Francisco Rodrigues mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Amorim FC and the Dona Denise players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fiori Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kléberson Paes in the 82nd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Amorim FC's goalkeeper Fiori Duarte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fausto Esteves. Cristóvão Liras short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Fiori Duarte to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dona Denise's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
