In the 13th minute, Juvefogo's Eugênio Valladares dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 16th minute, Oscar Vergílio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute Eliseu Braga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuri Brodel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Wilson Couto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Campidelis in the 23rd minute of play forced Juvefogo's goalkeeper Bebeto Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patinhos AD's Yuri Brodel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseu Braga in the 28th minute of play. Yuri Brodel made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Wesley Paraibano sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Juvefogo's zone, Wilson Couto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bebeto Cruz came out of the goal and Wilson Couto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fiori Madureira in the 33rd minute of play forced Patinhos AD's goalkeeper Yuri Brodel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bebeto Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Campidelis in the 41st minute of play. Yuri Brodel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseu Braga in the 45th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Eliseu Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Patinhos AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseu Neto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bebeto Cruz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eliseu Braga to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Juvefogo's goal looked a bit too open when Wilson Couto came free, but Bebeto Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Patinhos AD's Hugo Tande got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Yuri Brodel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseu Braga, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Fiori Madureira kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Patinhos AD's Eliseu Neto shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 75th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Wilson Couto fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Bebeto Cruz, passed just outside the right post. The long shot by Oscar Vergílio in the 85th minute really tested Bebeto Cruz's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 86th minute, Jorginho Tasso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the game, Wilson Couto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bebeto Cruz. Wilson Couto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
