After a rather tough play, Grêmio Charqueadas's Benê Pereira got a free kick in the 4th minute. Patinhos AD's Yuri Brodel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benê Pereira in the 8th minute of play. Yuri Brodel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustão Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grêmio Charqueadas's Sindre Storhaug played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilson Couto in the 17th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Grêmio Charqueadas's zone, Wilson Couto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sindre Storhaug came out of the goal and Wilson Couto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wilson Couto was extremely unlucky when he, in the 23rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Sindre Storhaug was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Oscar Vergílio. Wilson Couto might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sindre Storhaug. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wilson Couto ran back to his position shaking his head. 32 minutes into the game, Roger Batista was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grêmio Charqueadas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Patinhos AD the free kick. After 32 played minutes Grêmio Charqueadas got a freekick which was hit by Roger Batista. In the 35th minute, Roger Batista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sindre Storhaug took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilson Couto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Richard Campidelis made the kick off in the second half. Benê Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuri Brodel having to interfere. Hugo Tande struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Sindre Storhaug didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Patinhos AD. In the 57thth minute of the game Richard Campidelis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grêmio Charqueadas's Sindre Storhaug was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sindre Storhaug stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Richard Campidelis's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. In the 67th minute of the match Oscar Vergílio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sindre Storhaug showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 68 minutes into the game, Filipe Freitas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grêmio Charqueadas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Patinhos AD the free kick. Sindre Storhaug showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilson Couto, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After some careless play in the Patinhos AD defense, Benê Pereira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yuri Brodel. The Patinhos AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yuri Brodel should have stopped the shot. Benê Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Yuri Brodel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 79th minute by Filipe Freitas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 82nd minute, one of Grêmio Charqueadas:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Grêmio Charqueadas. Wilson Couto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the match, Grêmio Charqueadas's goal looked a bit too open when Wilson Couto came free, but Sindre Storhaug reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 95 minutes, Eliseu Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Patinhos AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseu Neto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wilson Couto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
