Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Aloísio Paraibano took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a little luck, Patinhos AD's Yuri Brodel got control of the ball when Abelardo Motta tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 10th minute Aloísio Paraibano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuri Brodel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute, Mangaratu AD got a penalty, and Matheus da Silveira placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Patinhos AD's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Aloísio Paraibano scored to the left of an out of position Yuri Brodel, making the score, 2-0. In the 21st minute Aloísio Paraibano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuri Brodel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Abelardo Motta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yuri Brodel was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Wilson Couto might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reynaldo de Azevedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wilson Couto ran back to his position shaking his head. Emílio Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Richard Campidelis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reynaldo de Azevedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abelardo Motta got free with Yuri Brodel in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 45 played minutes Mangaratu AD got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Rosado. Yuri Brodel made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Abelardo Motta sent off a good shot on target.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Richard Campidelis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vito Paraibano during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 53rd minute, Vito Paraibano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patinhos AD's Eliseu Neto shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 54th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Reynaldo de Azevedo but with some difficulty. Yuri Brodel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Motta in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute Abelardo Motta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuri Brodel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute, Vito Paraibano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilson Couto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo de Azevedo having to interfere. If Hugo Tande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th match minute, Mangaratu AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cacá Cabral to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Patinhos AD's Lucas Couto got a free kick in the 68th minute. Yuri Brodel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vito Paraibano in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 74th minute Abelardo Motta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuri Brodel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Wilson Couto came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Patinhos AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilson Couto couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Mangaratu AD's Vito Paraibano got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Wilson Couto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo de Azevedo having to interfere. Wilson Couto struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Reynaldo de Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Patinhos AD. Wilson Couto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mangaratu AD's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
