David Carioca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 5th minute, Duda de Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abelardo Motta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cauan de Andrade made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abelardo Motta in the 16th minute. Abelardo Motta kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 20thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Irundi's keeper Cauan de Andrade was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. With a little luck, Irundi's Cauan de Andrade got control of the ball when Abelardo Motta tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mangaratu AD's goalkeeper Reynaldo de Azevedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aloísio Paraibano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If David Carioca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 minutes, Vito Paraibano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mangaratu AD and the Irundi players grew even worse after the yellow card. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when André Luiz Arósio made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Mangaratu AD got a freekick which was hit by Jerônimo Oliveira. Reynaldo de Azevedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Carioca in the 53rd minute. David Carioca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo de Azevedo having to interfere. If André Luiz Arósio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Motta in the 65th minute of play forced Irundi's goalkeeper Cauan de Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Abelardo Motta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Irundi's André Luiz Arósio in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mangaratu AD's goalie prevented a goal. Cauan de Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo Motta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
