Benê Pereira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36th minute Cristiano Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sindre Storhaug saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cristiano Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Albertinho Araújo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benê Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. A collision led to Champilha FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Albertinho Araújo hit a great ball. Cristiano Cruz struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Sindre Storhaug didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Champilha FC. Grêmio Charqueadas's Faustão Souza got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sindre Storhaug made an important save on a dangerous shot by Régis Quadros in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benê Pereira in the 81st minute of play forced Champilha FC's goalkeeper 姚誉烽 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute Régis Quadros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sindre Storhaug saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Champilha FC's zone, Benê Pereira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 姚誉烽 came out of the goal and Benê Pereira tried to chip the ball over his head.
