A collision led to Otavianos FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Ismael Campidelis hit a great ball. If Wilian Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. Leandro Guedes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eurico Varela, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After some careless play in the Otavianos FC defense, Luizão Vargas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ulysses Secco. The Otavianos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulysses Secco should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valério Fernandez got free with Leandro Guedes in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wilian Saldanha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Ulysses Secco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luizão Vargas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ulysses Secco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Guacupi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eurico Varela came free, but Leandro Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Otavianos FC's Ulysses Secco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Abraão in the 94th minute of play. Guacupi FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
