Arnaldo Salgado hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, Cannabis Verde's goalkeeper Angelo Linhares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tadeu Trevisan. After having played for 16 minutes, Amílton Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cannabis Verde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amílton Marquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angelo Linhares was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcelinho Carioca showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. Marcelinho Carioca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Angelo Linhares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcelinho Carioca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelo Linhares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelinho Carioca got free with Angelo Linhares in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Cannabis Verde's Horácio Simões in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ibiassuce EC's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelinho Carioca got free with Angelo Linhares in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 43rd minute, Ibiassuce EC's Cristóvão Varela dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Angelo Linhares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelinho Carioca in the 47th minute of play. Wilson Neiva's late challenge caught a Ibiassuce EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilson Neiva helped the player get up and apologised. In the 48th minute, one of Cannabis Verde:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cannabis Verde. Angelo Linhares went to the wrong direction when Edinho Gaúcho was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tadeu Trevisan was the one to do the kick off. Cristóvão Varela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Linhares having to interfere. Cristóvão Varela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the match, Ibiassuce EC's goal looked a bit too open when Amílton Marquez came free, but José Carlos Munhoz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 66 minutes of play, Ibiassuce EC's Tadeu Trevisan made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angelo Linhares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cristóvão Varela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Angelo Linhares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 78 minutes, Cristóvão Varela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tadeu Trevisan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristóvão Varela in the 85th minute of play forced Cannabis Verde's goalkeeper Angelo Linhares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristóvão Varela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Angelo Linhares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristóvão Varela blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angelo Linhares having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ibiassuce EC had won after a very even match.
