Nuno Arruda's late challenge caught a TATETUBA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nuno Arruda helped the player get up and apologised. After 11 played minutes S.C. Eagles Fire got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Arruda. The crowd rose to their feet as TATETUBA's Lucas de Medeiros slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paulo Dantas. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. Lucas de Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 27 minutes, Sílvio Severo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.C. Eagles Fire and the TATETUBA players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of TATETUBA booed when S.C. Eagles Fire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sílvio Severo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 28 played minutes, TATETUBA's Marcelo Vander shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Paulo Dantas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in TATETUBA reached it. Lucas de Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Dantas having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, Cléberson da Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TATETUBA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.C. Eagles Fire the free kick. Cléberson da Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Paulo Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas de Medeiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Cléberson da Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute Régis Braga suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. S.C. Eagles Fire's Sílvio Severo got his second yellow card of the match in the 43rd minute. The referee ordered Sílvio Severo off the ground. Sílvio Severo hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Victor Zanette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Dantas having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Laércio de Senna was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Laércio de Senna notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of S.C. Eagles Fire's Paulo Dantas. Paulo Dantas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 56th minute, Laércio de Senna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulo Dantas was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Paulo Dantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laércio de Senna in the 60th minute of the match. Victor Zanette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, TATETUBA's Diogo Batista got a free kick in the 76th minute. If Victor Zanette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. Laércio de Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Paulo Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Frank de Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the TATETUBA players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
