Eagles Fire's Paulo Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amílton Marquez in the 22nd minute of play. When Horácio Simões came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Cannabis Verde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horácio Simões couldn't finish the play. Paulo Dantas was a little too slow when Horácio Simões got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 1-0. Paulo Dantas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Horácio Simões in the 34th minute. Cannabis Verde's Angelo Linhares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Célio Brasil in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amílton Marquez in the 39th minute of play forced S.C. Eagles Fire's goalkeeper Paulo Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in S.C. Eagles Fire's zone, Amílton Marquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Dantas came out of the goal and Amílton Marquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 44 played minutes S.C. Eagles Fire got a freekick which was hit by Washington Barreto. Mauro Guimarães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Linhares having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Célio Brasil to strike the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Angelo Linhares successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Paulo Dantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederico Koehler in the 65th minute of the match. A throw-in in the 78th minute of the game was made by Washington Barreto with Nuno Arruda as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. If Mauro Guimarães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Horácio Simões came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Cannabis Verde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horácio Simões couldn't finish the play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cannabis Verde had played much better football throughout.
