Diamantino Zonta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamim de Barros in the 3rd minute of play. A well placed Benjamim de Barros short distance shot in the 4th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. The supporters of New England Warriors booed when Saycan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Válter Netto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saycan FC were furious when João Paulo Reis was red carded, 12 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Saycan FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 11th minute. Penalty! The referee gave New England Warriors a penalty, 13 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Frédson Alves, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Saycan FC's Diamantino Zonta. 3-0. Diamantino Zonta came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by New England Warriors's Nico Palmeira. But to his dismay, Nico Palmeira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 23 minutes into the match, Saycan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamim de Barros came free, but Diamantino Zonta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th match minute, Saycan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Válter Netto to maneuver through the defense. Nico Palmeira succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 5-0 in the 34th playminute. After a defensive mix-up in Saycan FC's zone, Nico Palmeira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diamantino Zonta came out of the goal and Nico Palmeira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nico Palmeira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Diamantino Zonta skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Leonardo Gomes hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Diamantino Zonta was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nico Palmeira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-0 in the 46 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henrique Soares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Nico Palmeira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Diamantino Zonta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Diamantino Zonta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nico Palmeira in the 59th minute of play. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Saycan FC's goalkeeper Diamantino Zonta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When New England Warriors's Nico Palmeira in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Saycan FC's goalie prevented a goal. Lino Campidelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Diamantino Zonta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Nico Palmeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. New England Warriors's supporters rose to their feet, but Nico Palmeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diamantino Zonta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Benjamim de Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd match minute, Saycan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Válter Netto to maneuver through the defense. Lino Campidelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Diamantino Zonta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nico Palmeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
