Yuri Pimenta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Luiz Albuquerque having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Imbira FC's Chicão Lira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Luiz Albuquerque narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 29 played minutes GreenBlack FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexsandro Torres. Víktor Corrêa struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Roger Bertassi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GreenBlack FC. After a rather tough play, GreenBlack FC's Alfredo Damião got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 83rdth minute of the game Yuri Pimenta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GreenBlack FC's Pedro Luiz Albuquerque was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Pimenta in the 85th minute of play forced GreenBlack FC's goalkeeper Pedro Luiz Albuquerque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roger Bertassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Damião in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Enrique Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chicão Lira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Pedro Luiz Albuquerque made a huge save. In the 96th minute, Chicão Lira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
