Firmamento's supporters rose to their feet, but Cauã Monteiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudinho Velloso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Claudinho Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cauã Monteiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Firmamento's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wesley França was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Clóvis Trevisan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilson da Mata in the 76th minute of play. The supporters of Firmamento booed when Urandy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilson da Mata didn't get a good kick on the ball. Firmamento walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
