Richard Goiano made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Beto Leal sent off a good shot on target. Maciel FC's Dida de Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcinho Guerra in the 23rd minute of play. If Nelson Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 81 minutes of play, Maciel FC's Nelson Baptista made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Richard Goiano was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 85th match minute, Maciel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Gaitano to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, Tangente's Kaká Branco broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Beto Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
