If Otávio Dante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tangente's Richard Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Olo in the 9th minute of play. If Everardo Olo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Richard Goiano came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Lea FC's Otávio Dante. But to his dismay, Otávio Dante quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 14 minutes, Otávio Dante made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Tangente's Richard Goiano tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 18 minutes into the game, Lea FC's Everardo Olo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Richard Goiano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Jerônimo Tasso hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Everardo Olo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Davi Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Marcinho Guerra fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tangente's protests and gave Marcinho Guerra a yellow card for diving instead. Marcinho Guerra hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Tangente's Davi Vidal got a free kick in the 35th minute. Richard Goiano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Otávio Dante went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Everardo Olo made the kick off in the second half. Everardo Olo had several of the Tangente's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 53 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Richard Goiano as he didn't even see the shot coming. Lea FC were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Tangente's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Otávio Dante took the corner. After taking down the ball on Lea FC's corner Otávio Dante fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Richard Goiano quite easily take care of the ball. Everardo Olo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Richard Goiano skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 62nd minute, Everardo Olo made a precise shot to the right of Richard Goiano. Tangente's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Everardo Olo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Richard Goiano having to make a save. 0-7 became the score in the 67th minute when Everardo Olo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Otávio Dante blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Richard Goiano having to make a save. Everardo Olo scored 0-9 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Richard Goiano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 91st minute, Marcinho Guerra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luiz Fernando Teixeira was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-9. Richard Goiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinei Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Tangente fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lea FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
