Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Christiano Diniz kicked off to start the match. Alberto Moreira kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Nicolas Loyola managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santa Lúcia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolas Loyola was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rubinho do Vale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Christiano Diniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Rubinho do Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Santa Lúcia FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Anísio Monteiro hit a great ball. Anísio Monteiro kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Nicolas Loyola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the match, Montese FC's goal looked a bit too open when Christiano Diniz came free, but Rubinho do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christiano Diniz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rubinho do Vale came out and tried to block the shot, but Christiano Diniz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 27th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Montese FC's goalkeeper Rubinho do Vale had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicolas Loyola. The audience was convinced that Christiano Diniz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rubinho do Vale was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. After 40 minutes, Christiano Diniz made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Montese FC's Rubinho do Vale tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Christiano Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Montese FC's zone, Nicolas Loyola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rubinho do Vale came out of the goal and Nicolas Loyola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Rubinho do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christiano Diniz in the 54th minute of play. If Nicolas Loyola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicolas Loyola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Christiano Diniz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rubinho do Vale was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. After 71 minutes Montese FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Christiano Diniz who took care of the corner kick. After recieving a nice pass, Santa Lúcia FC's Christiano Diniz tried to score from far away in the 84th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christiano Diniz in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rubinho do Vale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Santa Lúcia FC's Sílvio Luís Terra got control of the ball when Haroldo Cabral tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Nicolas Loyola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celso Soeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Santa Lúcia FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
