Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rony Fontes took the kick off in the first half of the match. Dênis Penha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Renan Mendonça in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederico Ramos in the 8th minute of play forced Itabapoana SS's goalkeeper Dênis Penha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Frederico Ramos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dênis Penha. Itabapoana SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frederico Ramos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Renan Mendonça struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Dênis Penha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ibitura. Itabapoana SS's Dênis Penha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederico Ramos in the 21st minute of play. After 22 played minutes Itabapoana SS got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Sá. Wilton Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Sá in the 26th minute of play. After 28 played minutes Itabapoana SS got a freekick which was hit by Rodriguinho de Castro. In the 33rd minute, Itabapoana SS's César Arósio seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed César Arósio the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Itabapoana SS protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and César Arósio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Itabapoana SS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! Augusto Sá received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Wilton Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Itabapoana SS's Rony Fontes got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frederico Ramos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Frederico Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Dênis Penha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Zonta in the 55th minute of play forced Itabapoana SS's goalkeeper Dênis Penha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Pedro Augusto Gaspar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dênis Penha was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 63rdth minute of the game Renan Mendonça who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Itabapoana SS's Dênis Penha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 69 minutes, Pedro Augusto Gaspar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ibitura's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Augusto Gaspar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wilton Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rony Fontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute, Pedro Augusto Gaspar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rony Fontes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilton Branco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Itabapoana SS's Rony Fontes got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 81 minutes into the match, Itabapoana SS's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Augusto Gaspar came free, but Dênis Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the game, Ibitura's Frederico Ramos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dênis Penha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Dênis Penha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Augusto Gaspar in the 88th minute of the match. Dênis Penha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frederico Ramos went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Ibitura getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Pedro Augusto Gaspar hit a great ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ibitura had played much better football throughout.
