Spectators: 6681 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Virgílio Mineiro started the match with the kick off. After 5 minutes of play, Carabucu FC's Robinho Dias made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Donato Valle was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Inácio Rezende during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 10 played minutes Bairrinho SS got a freekick which was hit by Inácio Rezende. Gildo Barreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Donato Valle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gildo Barreto ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Tadeu Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carabucu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tadeu Silva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donato Valle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute, Robinho Dias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carabucu FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Jean Vasconcelos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Donato Valle. Bairrinho SS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 25thth minute of the game Robinho Dias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bairrinho SS's Donato Valle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgílio Mineiro in the 27th minute of play forced Carabucu FC's goalkeeper Sebastião Pena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 28 minutes, Robinho Dias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carabucu FC and the Bairrinho SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Carabucu FC's Robinho Dias got a free kick in the 28th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Robinho Dias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carabucu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Robinho Dias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donato Valle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Donato Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robinho Dias in the 32nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Bairrinho SS defense, Gildo Barreto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Donato Valle. The Bairrinho SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Donato Valle should have stopped the shot. In the 40th minute, Tadeu Silva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Donato Valle was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Tião Quirino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55thth minute of the game Robinho Dias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bairrinho SS's Donato Valle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Luiz Fabiano Donato had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastião Pena. Carabucu FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luiz Fabiano Donato was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. A collision led to Bairrinho SS getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Virgílio Mineiro hit a great ball. Robinho Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcel Vasconcelos kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. When Gildo Barreto came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Carabucu FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gildo Barreto couldn't finish the play. Robinho Dias in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Donato Valle, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Tião Quirino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Donato Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Carabucu FC's Gildo Barreto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. Donato Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeu Silva in the 77th minute of the match. Donato Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robinho Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th match minute, Bairrinho SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramón Camargo to maneuver through the defense. Robinho Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Donato Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robinho Dias in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Donato Valle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Bairrinho SS's Donato Valle got control of the ball when Tião Quirino tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robinho Dias in the 89th minute of play forced Bairrinho SS's goalkeeper Donato Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donato Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robinho Dias in the 94th minute of the match. When the match was over Carabucu FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bairrinho SS throughout the match.
