Romário Tasso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Ulysses Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th match minute, MotorBet66 F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tostão Lopes to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in MotorBet66 F.C.'s zone, Andrézinho Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reinaldo Nunes came out of the goal and Andrézinho Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Japaratinga's Andrézinho Amaral got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to MotorBet66 F.C. getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Tostão Lopes hit a great ball. After having played for 24 minutes, Andrézinho Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Japaratinga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrézinho Amaral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 24 minutes into the game, Luís Gustavo Mendonça was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MotorBet66 F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Japaratinga the free kick. The supporters of Japaratinga booed when MotorBet66 F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Gustavo Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ramiro Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Andrézinho Amaral fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Japaratinga's protests and gave Andrézinho Amaral a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Japaratinga's Andrézinho Amaral got a free kick in the 32nd minute. When MotorBet66 F.C.'s Romário Tasso in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. MotorBet66 F.C.'s Reinaldo Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiliam Pena in the 48th minute of play.

The wind increased when Wiliam Pena made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to MotorBet66 F.C. getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Eurico Amaral hit a great ball. Andrézinho Amaral struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Reinaldo Nunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Japaratinga. In the 59th minute, Ramiro Pinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Japaratinga's zone, Romário Tasso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After 62 minutes, Eurico Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Japaratinga and the MotorBet66 F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 62 played minutes Japaratinga got a freekick which was hit by Eurico Costa. Romário Tasso took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ulysses Freitas. Ulysses Freitas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ramiro Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 70 minutes into the match, MotorBet66 F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Wiliam Pena came free, but Reinaldo Nunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, MotorBet66 F.C.'s Romário Tasso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ulysses Freitas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Andrézinho Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wiliam Pena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulysses Freitas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramiro Pinho in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute, Romário Tasso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ulysses Freitas was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alexandre Camargo. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when MotorBet66 F.C.'s Romário Tasso in the 84th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Ulysses Freitas was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Japaratinga through an amazing save. 86 minutes into the match, Wiliam Pena notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of MotorBet66 F.C.'s Reinaldo Nunes. Reinaldo Nunes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Romário Tasso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulysses Freitas having to interfere. Ramiro Pinho might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ulysses Freitas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ramiro Pinho ran back to his position shaking his head. Ulysses Freitas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramiro Pinho in the 97th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the MotorBet66 F.C. players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
