Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gildo Barreto took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Carabucu FC's Gildo Barreto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfredo Varela narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Carabucu FC's Jean Vasconcelos got a free kick in the 6th minute. After 10 minutes Carabucu FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Samuca de Medeiros who took care of the corner kick. The corner led PINGUINS ABANDONANDO JOGO's Samuca de Medeiros to fire away a dangerous shot which Sebastião Pena despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. PINGUINS ABANDONANDO JOGO's Luan Nunes got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 19 minutes into the match, Carabucu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luan Nunes came free, but Sebastião Pena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carabucu FC's Sebastião Pena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duarte Rosa in the 23rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, PINGUINS ABANDONANDO JOGO's Filipe Recife got a free kick in the 24th minute. Tião Quirino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Alfredo Varela made a huge save. Sebastião Pena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duarte Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gildo Barreto struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Alfredo Varela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carabucu FC. Tião Quirino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Alfredo Varela made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Gildo Barreto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alfredo Varela. That made the score 1-0 in the 37 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Duarte Rosa to make the kick off. With a little luck, Carabucu FC's Sebastião Pena got control of the ball when Luan Nunes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gildo Barreto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Varela having to interfere. After having played for 57 minutes, Tião Quirino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carabucu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tião Quirino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gildo Barreto in the 60th minute of play forced PINGUINS ABANDONANDO JOGO's goalkeeper Alfredo Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samuca de Medeiros's late challenge caught a Carabucu FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Samuca de Medeiros helped the player get up and apologised. 64 minutes into the game, one of PINGUINS ABANDONANDO JOGO:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Carabucu FC a penalty, 67 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tião Quirino, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of PINGUINS ABANDONANDO JOGO's Alfredo Varela. 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexsandro Ramalho during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee gave Carabucu FC a penalty, 71 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tião Quirino, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of PINGUINS ABANDONANDO JOGO's Alfredo Varela. 3-0. If Gildo Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gildo Barreto in the 77th minute of play forced PINGUINS ABANDONANDO JOGO's goalkeeper Alfredo Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tião Quirino took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredo Varela. Alfredo Varela dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Gildo Barreto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfredo Varela having to make a save. Tadeu Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tião Quirino in the 93rd minute of play forced PINGUINS ABANDONANDO JOGO's goalkeeper Alfredo Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gildo Barreto in the 96th minute of play. Gildo Barreto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Varela having to interfere. Gildo Barreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 101st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfredo Varela. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gildo Barreto ran back to his position shaking his head. PINGUINS ABANDONANDO JOGO's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
