The supporters of Japaratinga booed when Atlhetic Guariba Monkeys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Acácio Linhares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nilton Vidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrézinho Amaral in the 23rd minute of play. Ulysses Freitas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiliam de Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nelson Vander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Ulysses Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulysses Freitas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wiliam de Barros in the 31st minute of the match. Nelson Vander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Nelson Vander came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Atlhetic Guariba Monkeys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nelson Vander couldn't finish the play. Nelson Vander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulysses Freitas having to interfere. If Wiliam de Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nilton Vidal made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Andrézinho Amaral sent off a good shot on target. In the 87th minute, Wiliam Pena fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Nilton Vidal, passed just outside the right post. Wiliam Pena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Nilton Vidal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Wiliam Pena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
