Spectators: 6677 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Carlos Augusto Sergipano got the match started through his kick off. Seleto's Edu Peres got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlos Augusto Sergipano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tarcisio Romero having to interfere. Celsinho Secco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Tarcisio Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Seleto's Wanderson Amaral got a free kick in the 27th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Augusto Sergipano in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tarcisio Romero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Carlos Augusto Sergipano came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Seleto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Augusto Sergipano couldn't finish the play. In the 32nd minute, Nico Valadares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Seleto fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After having played for 36 minutes, Carlos Augusto Sergipano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Seleto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Augusto Sergipano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cacaulandia FC's goalkeeper Tarcisio Romero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 42 minutes of play, Seleto's Carlos Augusto Sergipano made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tarcisio Romero was left in no man's land by his defense there! 46 minutes into the match, Cacaulandia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Augusto Sergipano came free, but Tarcisio Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Celsinho Secco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cauã Prata to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Celsinho Secco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Paulo Leite got free with Tarcisio Romero in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 57 minutes into the match, Cacaulandia FC's goalkeeper Tarcisio Romero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Augusto Sergipano. In the 61st minute Carlos Augusto Sergipano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tarcisio Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tarcisio Romero came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Seleto's Carlos Augusto Sergipano. But to his dismay, Carlos Augusto Sergipano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 70 minutes into the game, José Paulo Leite cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Tarcisio Romero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 74 minutes into the match, Cacaulandia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Celsinho Secco came free, but Tarcisio Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cacaulandia FC's Tarcisio Romero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Cacaulandia FC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Cacaulandia FC's zone, Carlos Augusto Sergipano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tarcisio Romero came out of the goal and Carlos Augusto Sergipano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Celsinho Secco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tarcisio Romero was a little too slow when Edu Peres got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 2-5. After 87th play minutes Carlos Augusto Sergipano shot 2-6, a short shot which went by Tarcisio Romero and just under the crossbar into goal. Felippe Loureiro charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felippe Loureiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cacaulandia FC booed when Seleto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felippe Loureiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tarcisio Romero was a little too slow when Edu Peres got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 2-7. Seleto's Celsinho Secco got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
