In the 24th minute, Kauã Nóbrega hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diguinho Penha was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Fábio Castro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fábio Castro really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Marcel de Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diguinho Penha having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Thiago futebol club's goalkeeper Diguinho Penha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcel de Almeida. When Marcel de Almeida came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Blaze of Glory F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcel de Almeida couldn't finish the play. Charles Valadares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Diguinho Penha made a huge save. 38 minutes into the match, Thiago futebol club's goalkeeper Diguinho Penha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fábio Castro. With his leg Diguinho Penha managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Blaze of Glory F.C.'s Fábio Castro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fábio Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47thth minute of the game Zé Augusto Moura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Thiago futebol club's Diguinho Penha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcel de Almeida stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Rodolfo Paulista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diguinho Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcel de Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roberto Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amílton Medeiros in the 67th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ciro Munhoz during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 71st match minute, Thiago futebol club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Munhoz to maneuver through the defense. Diguinho Penha came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Blaze of Glory F.C.'s Fábio Castro. But to his dismay, Fábio Castro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 81st minute, Zé Augusto Moura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Thiago futebol club's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel de Almeida came free, but Diguinho Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Thiago futebol club getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Kauã Nóbrega hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcel de Almeida in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diguinho Penha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 88th minute, Marcel de Almeida ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diguinho Penha was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Fábio Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
