Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Carlos Augusto Andrade started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Seleto's Romário Branco got a free kick in the 10th minute. With an all-out effort, Seleto's Otávio Magalhães threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Celsinho Secco, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. PlayArt FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Carlos Augusto Sergipano scored to the left of an out of position Otávio Magalhães, making the score, 1-0. José Paulo Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Paulo Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Otávio Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute Carlos Augusto Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorival Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Seleto's Dorival Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Augusto Andrade in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Paulo Munhoz in the 30th minute of play forced Seleto's goalkeeper Dorival Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Augusto Sergipano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otávio Magalhães having to interfere. If Carlos Augusto Sergipano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, PlayArt FC's Betinho Baptista got a free kick in the 44th minute. Carlos Augusto Sergipano struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Otávio Magalhães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Seleto. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Augusto Sergipano was the one to do the kick off. Otávio Magalhães stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Augusto Sergipano's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Otávio Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Augusto Sergipano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the match, Carlos Augusto Sergipano notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of PlayArt FC's Otávio Magalhães. Otávio Magalhães was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 59 played minutes PlayArt FC got a freekick which was hit by Naldo Queiroz. When Carlos Augusto Sergipano came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Seleto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Augusto Sergipano couldn't finish the play. After 61 minutes, Luiz Paulo Munhoz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PlayArt FC and the Seleto players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 61st minute, Luiz Paulo Munhoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Otávio Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Augusto Sergipano in the 63rd minute of the match. If Carlos Augusto Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Guilherme Barral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Dorival Silveira made a huge save. 69 minutes into the match, Seleto's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Augusto Andrade came free, but Dorival Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. PlayArt FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Romeu Novaes in the 71st minute. Otávio Magalhães came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Seleto's Carlos Augusto Sergipano. But to his dismay, Carlos Augusto Sergipano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in PlayArt FC's zone, Carlos Augusto Sergipano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Otávio Magalhães came out of the goal and Carlos Augusto Sergipano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Seleto's Nando Alves got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Luís Guilherme Barral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorival Silveira having to interfere. PlayArt FC's Otávio Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Augusto Sergipano in the 85th minute of play. If Carlos Augusto Sergipano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Augusto Sergipano in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Otávio Magalhães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Luís Guilherme Barral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind PlayArt FC's goalkeeper Otávio Magalhães, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 95 minutes, José Paulo Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Seleto's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Paulo Leite was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlos Augusto Sergipano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Otávio Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Seleto fully deserved thier win.
