Saecinza's Júlio Alagoano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fábio Castro in the 7th minute of play. Júlio Alagoano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fábio Castro in the 9th minute of the match. Saecinza's Juninho Montenegro quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Juvenal Pinheiro, made in the 12th minute of the game. Ricardinho Pombal struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Roberto Queirós didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saecinza. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Augusto Moura in the 16th minute of play forced Saecinza's goalkeeper Júlio Alagoano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodolfo Paulista scored 0-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Júlio Alagoano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 20 minutes into the match, Saecinza's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel de Almeida came free, but Júlio Alagoano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Júlio Alagoano came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Blaze of Glory F.C.'s Zé Augusto Moura. But to his dismay, Zé Augusto Moura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 29th minute Zé Augusto Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Alagoano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Fábio Castro notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Saecinza's Júlio Alagoano. Júlio Alagoano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Júlio Alagoano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Paulista in the 38th minute of the match. In the 44th minute Fábio Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Alagoano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Saecinza defense, Zé Augusto Moura kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Júlio Alagoano. The Saecinza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Júlio Alagoano should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ricardinho Pombal to make the kick off. If Ricardinho Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Blaze of Glory F.C.'s Dorival Freire got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Saecinza's Júlio Alagoano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Saecinza from getting a goal against them. Júlio Alagoano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zé Augusto Moura showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 68 minute of play. Fábio Castro came free with the goalkeeper in the 83rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Júlio Alagoano could save by the left post. Fábio Castro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Júlio Alagoano made a huge save. 86 minutes into the match, Fábio Castro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Júlio Alagoano. Saecinza's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fábio Castro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-12. Júlio Alagoano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Augusto Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Júlio Alagoano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Augusto Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 92 minutes into the match, Marcel de Almeida dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Júlio Alagoano, 0-13. Blaze of Glory F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
