In the 13th minute, Cacaulandia FC's Cauã Prata dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 19thth minute of the game Zé Augusto Moura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cacaulandia FC's Tarcisio Romero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roberto Queirós was a little too slow when João Pedro Carneiro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 2-1. In the 23rd minute Cauã Prata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Pedro Carneiro got free with Roberto Queirós in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After taking down the ball on Blaze of Glory F.C.'s corner Zé Augusto Moura fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tarcisio Romero quite easily take care of the ball. Rodolfo Paulista's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tarcisio Romero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th match minute, Blaze of Glory F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fábio Castro to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fábio Castro in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tarcisio Romero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rodolfo Paulista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fábio Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Tarcisio Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fábio Castro in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tarcisio Romero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

51 minutes into the game, Charles Valadares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Blaze of Glory F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cacaulandia FC the free kick. In the 51st match minute, Blaze of Glory F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Valadares to maneuver through the defense. Roberto Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magno Barros in the 52nd minute of the match. A collision led to Blaze of Glory F.C. getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Charles Valadares hit a great ball. In the 58th minute of the match Frédson Diniz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roberto Queirós showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tarcisio Romero didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 62nd minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. Cacaulandia FC's Tarcisio Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcel de Almeida in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute of the match, Rodolfo Paulista got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tarcisio Romero was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Cacaulandia FC's goalkeeper Tarcisio Romero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cauã Prata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Queirós having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Cacaulandia FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Charles Valadares fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Rodolfo Paulista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st minute, Fábio Castro made a precise shot to the right of Tarcisio Romero. Cacaulandia FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. When Marcel de Almeida came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Blaze of Glory F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcel de Almeida couldn't finish the play. Zé Augusto Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fábio Castro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Tarcisio Romero made a huge save. 89 minutes into the match, Cacaulandia FC's goalkeeper Tarcisio Romero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zé Augusto Moura. Tarcisio Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel de Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fábio Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tarcisio Romero having to interfere. Roberto Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magno Barros in the 95th minute of play.
