The tension between the PlayArt FC and the Evarista players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to PlayArt FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Luiz Paulo Munhoz hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, Christiano Nogueira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Otávio Magalhães. PlayArt FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christiano Nogueira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vitinho Sá during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th match minute, Evarista was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vitinho Sá to maneuver through the defense. PlayArt FC's Otávio Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felippe Dracena in the 20th minute of play. In the 25th minute Felippe Dracena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otávio Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felippe Dracena kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Carlos Augusto Andrade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christiano Nogueira in the 32nd minute of play forced PlayArt FC's goalkeeper Otávio Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Felippe Dracena was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Christiano Nogueira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56thth minute of the game Felippe Dracena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PlayArt FC's Otávio Magalhães was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in PlayArt FC's zone, Christiano Nogueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Otávio Magalhães came out of the goal and Christiano Nogueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Luís Guilherme Barral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the game, one of Evarista:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Genílson Pimenta had in the 65thth minute some difficulties stopping Romeu Novaes's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Luís Guilherme Barral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christiano Nogueira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 99th minute of the match, but Otávio Magalhães made a huge save.
