Otávio Magalhães was a little too slow when Felippe Dracena got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 5th minute. The score was now 1-0. When Felippe Dracena came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Evarista fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felippe Dracena couldn't finish the play. If Felippe Dracena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Sandro Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Genílson Pimenta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Augusto Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Carlos Augusto Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genílson Pimenta having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Luís Guilherme Barral managed to get in a good position for a shot. PlayArt FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Guilherme Barral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Genílson Pimenta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luís Guilherme Barral's late challenge caught a Evarista's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luís Guilherme Barral helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Evarista booed when PlayArt FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Guilherme Barral didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 36 minutes, Luiz Paulo Munhoz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PlayArt FC and the Evarista players grew even worse after the yellow card. Otávio Magalhães made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christiano Nogueira got free with Otávio Magalhães in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Augusto Andrade stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Evarista's Genílson Pimenta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Augusto Andrade in the 52nd minute of play. In the 57thth minute of the game Felippe Dracena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PlayArt FC's Otávio Magalhães was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 63 minutes, Christiano Nogueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Evarista's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christiano Nogueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felippe Dracena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otávio Magalhães having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in PlayArt FC's zone, Christiano Nogueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Otávio Magalhães came out of the goal and Christiano Nogueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Augusto Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Guilherme Barral took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Genílson Pimenta. Genílson Pimenta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 84 minutes into the match, Evarista's Christiano Nogueira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Otávio Magalhães narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 86th minute Felippe Dracena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otávio Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 86 played minutes PlayArt FC got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Paulo Munhoz. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Christiano Nogueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Otávio Magalhães was left in no man's land by his defense there! Christiano Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Otávio Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Felippe Dracena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Otávio Magalhães was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1.
