Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Válter Freitas in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Inácio Vargas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 15thth minute of the game Leonardo Camargo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Escadilha's Inácio Vargas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alberto Ramalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ediberto Romero in the 18th minute of play. Alberto Ramalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ediberto Romero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laerte Queiroz hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the match, Trevo de 3 Cores's Leonardo Camargo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Inácio Vargas narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonardo Camargo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Camargo in the 64th minute of play forced Escadilha's goalkeeper Inácio Vargas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Inácio Vargas managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Trevo de 3 Cores's Válter Freitas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Escadilha's zone, Válter Freitas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Inácio Vargas came out of the goal and Válter Freitas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oswaldo Teixeira during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 73 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Escadilha! Válter Freitas struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Inácio Vargas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trevo de 3 Cores. 83 minutes into the game, Hugo Martins cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Alberto Ramalho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hugo Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Ramalho having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Escadilha's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Camargo came free, but Inácio Vargas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ediberto Romero struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Alberto Ramalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Escadilha.
