They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Kauan Melo made the kick off in the second half. After 68 minutes of play, Paris São Germano FC's Kauan Melo made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Inácio Vargas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Davi Gerber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Beto Dracena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davi Gerber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Inácio Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kauan Melo in the 76th minute of play. Kauan Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inácio Vargas having to interfere. Ernani Damião kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Paris São Germano FC's Denílson Andrade got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Arthur Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Kauan Melo came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Paris São Germano FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kauan Melo couldn't finish the play. In the 89th minute Arthur Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inácio Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Escadilha were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after Paris São Germano FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. João Zonta took the corner. The supporters of Paris São Germano FC booed when Escadilha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Paiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 98th minute, Kauan Melo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Escadilha had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
