Spectators: 7258 (Terracing: 5445, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) The Soul Magic FC fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Soul Magic FC's Dida Bezerra looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Silas Romero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquim Gonçalves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Joaquim Gonçalves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dida Bezerra went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 24 minutes into the match, Soul Magic FC's Dino Messias broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Geovanni Matorin kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Joaquim Gonçalves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silas Romero in the 31st minute of play. Dida Bezerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Gonçalves having to interfere. In the 37th of the match, Leandro Brito tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Luiz Fernando Bezerra got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 39th minute of the match Lenílson Costa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joaquim Gonçalves skillfully saved the ball. Joaquim Gonçalves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dida Bezerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. If Dida Bezerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Otávio Salgado kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

In the 55th minute, Maroto AD's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Silas Romero fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Soul Magic FC booed when Maroto AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovanni Matorin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the game, Silas Romero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Joaquim Gonçalves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Dida Bezerra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soul Magic FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dida Bezerra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquim Gonçalves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silas Romero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Joaquim Gonçalves made a huge save. Silas Romero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Joaquim Gonçalves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Dida Bezerra fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Joaquim Gonçalves, passed just outside the right post. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maroto AD's goalkeeper Joaquim Gonçalves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 88 minutes into the match, Dida Bezerra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquim Gonçalves. Maroto AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dida Bezerra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Joaquim Gonçalves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dida Bezerra's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. In the 95th match minute, Soul Magic FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guto Domingues to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the game, Dida Bezerra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Soul Magic FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maroto AD the free kick. In the 96th minute, Dida Bezerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Soul Magic FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
