In the 3rd minute, Valério da Cunha reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rodriguinho Ramalho. The goal made the score 1-0. ECLESIASTES FC's Paulinho Arantes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo das Neves in the 6th minute of play. In the 11th minute Robert Severo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodriguinho Ramalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Miraselva's Rodriguinho Ramalho got control of the ball when Paulo Siqueira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rodriguinho Ramalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Siqueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulinho Arantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joélson de Mendonça in the 22nd minute of the match. Robert Severo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodriguinho Ramalho having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as ECLESIASTES FC's Robert Severo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rodriguinho Ramalho. That made the score 2-0 after 32 minutes of play. Paulo Siqueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Rodriguinho Ramalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodriguinho Ramalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Severo in the 38th minute of play. Paulo Siqueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodriguinho Ramalho having to interfere. 48 minutes into the match, Miraselva's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Ramalho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Siqueira. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Robert Severo made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Siqueira in the 55th minute of play forced Miraselva's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Ramalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodriguinho Ramalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Severo in the 56th minute of the match. In the 59th match minute, ECLESIASTES FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Hoffmann to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th match minute Jonas Azevedo ran free in the middle of the field and shot a long shot which scored behind a totally surprised Paulinho Arantes. 2-1. ECLESIASTES FC's Paulo Siqueira got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joélson de Mendonça kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Angelo das Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Paulinho Arantes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 77 minutes, Gil Vargas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miraselva's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gil Vargas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 79 played minutes Miraselva got a freekick which was hit by Gil Vargas. 80 minutes into the game, Miraselva's Joélson de Mendonça nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulinho Arantes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After a rather tough play, Miraselva's Claudinei Borges got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute of the match Lino Hoffmann sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodriguinho Ramalho skillfully saved the ball. Joélson de Mendonça struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Paulinho Arantes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Miraselva. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
