In the 35th minute Róbson Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Göktürk Sayamon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernandinho Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deivid Figueiredo having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raúl Barros during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rajado's Deivid Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernandinho Luz in the 75th minute of play. After having played for 77 minutes, Fernandinho Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FullForward's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernandinho Luz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Toninho Cruz might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Deivid Figueiredo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Toninho Cruz ran back to his position shaking his head. Toninho Cruz's late challenge caught a Rajado's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain.
