FutBr Esporte Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Willian Bastos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodolfo da Mata breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Willian Bastos came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the FutBr Esporte Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Willian Bastos couldn't finish the play. Sérgio de Amaral's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Anísio Viana skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edvaldo Velasco in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anísio Viana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anísio Viana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sérgio de Amaral in the 30th minute. 33 minutes into the game, Sérgio de Amaral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Equador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FutBr Esporte Clube the free kick. Sérgio de Amaral hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute, Olavo Mandrak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FutBr Esporte Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gino Ribeiro during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Willian Bastos was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 90 minutes, Sérgio de Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sérgio de Amaral in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anísio Viana saved FutBr Esporte Clube from getting behind. FutBr Esporte Clube's Anísio Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sérgio de Amaral in the 95th minute of play. Equador were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FutBr Esporte Clube for a fine match.
