The referee ignored Força Alagoana's protests and gave Christian do Valle a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd minute, Christian do Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Christian do Valle was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 6 minutes had been played. In the 6th match minute, Força Alagoana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian do Valle to maneuver through the defense. After 8 played minutes Força Alagoana got a freekick which was hit by Wanderson Moura. The supporters of Força Alagoana booed when Pacu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdemar Borges didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dariusz Lichucki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel da Cunha in the 13th minute of the match. After 13 played minutes Força Alagoana got a freekick which was hit by Romulo Dunixi. In the 15th minute, De-Jesús Lewandowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Força Alagoana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. De-Jesús Lewandowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Vítor Silva having to make a save. José Vítor Silva made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when De-Jesús Lewandowski sent off a good shot on target. Alejandro Pagan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Vítor Silva was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and De-Jesús Lewandowski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. De-Jesús Lewandowski really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 25th match minute, Força Alagoana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. Dariusz Lichucki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cássio de Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Manuel da Cunha scored 2-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dariusz Lichucki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Valdemar Borges hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, De-Jesús Lewandowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Força Alagoana's supporters rose to their feet, but De-Jesús Lewandowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Vítor Silva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cássio de Lima was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Pacu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdemar Borges to maneuver through the defense. Romulo Dunixi kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Manuel da Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. When Força Alagoana's De-Jesús Lewandowski, in the 62nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Força Alagoana. In the 66th minute, Manuel da Cunha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pacu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Dariusz Lichucki came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Pacu's Valdemar Borges. But to his dismay, Valdemar Borges quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. 88 minutes into the match, Força Alagoana's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel da Cunha came free, but Dariusz Lichucki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, De-Jesús Lewandowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Although Força Alagoana had been in control for most of the match, Pacu still came away with the win.
