When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henrique Ortiz made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nico da Costa during the 54th minute. Charles Trancoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Túlio Netto, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Gira EC had won after a very even match.
