Adrianinho Moreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio de Lima in the 3rd minute of play. Benedito Rosado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Adrianinho Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cássio de Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. Manuel da Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Adrianinho Moreira was a little too slow when Cássio de Lima got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 2-0. 30 minutes into the game, Benedito Rosado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Adrianinho Moreira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Eliseu Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Pacu getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Benedito Rosado hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the match, Cássio de Lima notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Guapira's Adrianinho Moreira. Adrianinho Moreira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Cipriano Furtado fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guapira's protests and gave Cipriano Furtado a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Pacu booed when Guapira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano Furtado didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Pacu's Ediberto Azevedo tried to score from far away in the 46th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Guapira's zone, Valdemar Borges stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrianinho Moreira came out of the goal and Valdemar Borges tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cipriano Furtado to make the kick off. 59 minutes into the match, Guapira's goal looked a bit too open when Benedito Rosado came free, but Adrianinho Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adrianinho Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedito Rosado, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Benedito Rosado struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Adrianinho Moreira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pacu. Manuel da Cunha hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Guapira defense, Cássio de Lima kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adrianinho Moreira. The Guapira fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adrianinho Moreira should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Pacu's Manuel da Cunha got a free kick in the 84th minute. Guapira's Adrianinho Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio de Lima in the 94th minute of play. Pacu walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
