With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rubens Maia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Henrique Rosado fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guiomar AD's protests and gave Henrique Rosado a yellow card for diving instead. Henrique Rosado hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Víktor Veiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Doni Figueiredo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Rubens Maia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Doni Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adhemar Cearense kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Doni Figueiredo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Rubens Maia skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Doni Figueiredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Rubens Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Guiomar AD's zone, Víktor Veiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rubens Maia came out of the goal and Víktor Veiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Matheus Brasil made the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Guiomar AD got a freekick which was hit by Cafu Araújo. In the 56th minute of the match Arlindo Castro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rubens Maia skillfully saved the ball. Nilmar Paraense kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. If Doni Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cafu Araújo was shown his second yellow card after 62 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Cafu Araújo hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After 64 minutes of play, S.E. Bento XVI's Doni Figueiredo made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rubens Maia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rubens Maia didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when S.E. Bento XVI's Víktor Veiga shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Vivaldo Netto charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vivaldo Netto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Guiomar AD fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! In the 77th minute, Matheus Brasil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bento XVI got a freekick which was hit by Anderson Magalhães. Fabiano Corrêa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. S.E. Bento XVI fully deserved thier win.
