Agostinho Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Rodolfo Mattos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cristóvão Castro came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the ULTRADEMOLIDOR PI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristóvão Castro couldn't finish the play. Rodolfo Mattos stood somewhat misplaced when Cristóvão Castro came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 35 minute. Rodolfo Mattos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristóvão Castro in the 39th minute. Agostinho Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Túlio Netto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Meira having to interfere. After having played for 48 minutes, Cauã Bertassi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ULTRADEMOLIDOR PI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cauã Bertassi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristóvão Castro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Nico da Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jacuecanga FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nico da Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tony Meira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rodolfo Mattos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristóvão Castro's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Túlio Netto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute, Luís Fabiano Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Agostinho Tavares might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rodolfo Mattos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Agostinho Tavares ran back to his position shaking his head. 84 minutes into the game, one of ULTRADEMOLIDOR PI:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 86 minutes, Jacuecanga FC's Alex Fernandes got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Tony Meira. 89 minutes into the match, ULTRADEMOLIDOR PI's goalkeeper Tony Meira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mateus Loyola. Cristóvão Castro took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodolfo Mattos. Rodolfo Mattos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Agostinho Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Cristóvão Castro came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the ULTRADEMOLIDOR PI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristóvão Castro couldn't finish the play. ULTRADEMOLIDOR PI walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
