Cícero Senna hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, Pacu's goal looked a bit too open when Doni Figueiredo came free, but José Vítor Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the S.E. Bento XVI defense, Benedito Rosado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Durval Souto. The S.E. Bento XVI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Durval Souto should have stopped the shot. Doni Figueiredo struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. José Vítor Silva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.E. Bento XVI. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudinei Alcântara during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 24th minute, Claudinei Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Doni Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.E. Bento XVI's supporters rose to their feet, but Doni Figueiredo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Vítor Silva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Manuel da Cunha fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pacu's protests and gave Manuel da Cunha a yellow card for diving instead. Manuel da Cunha hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Oséas Lopez kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. If Claudinei Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Doni Figueiredo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bento XVI's goal looked a bit too open when Benedito Rosado came free, but Durval Souto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel da Cunha hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Doni Figueiredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. José Vítor Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Durval Souto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedito Rosado in the 87th minute of the match. If Doni Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the match, S.E. Bento XVI's Doni Figueiredo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Vítor Silva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Doni Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Vítor Silva having to interfere. Pacu were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of S.E. Bento XVI for a fine match.
