Spectators: 6657 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 0) Henrique Ortiz made the kick off and thus started the match. 6 minutes into the match, Mraoliveira's goal looked a bit too open when Henrique Ortiz came free, but Vitinho Tavares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Gira EC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Carlinhos da Fonseca hit a great ball. Sydney Sabóia kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Mraoliveira's Luiz Fábio Seco got a free kick in the 12th minute. Henrique Ortiz had several of the Mraoliveira's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 20 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Vitinho Tavares as he didn't even see the shot coming. Vitinho Tavares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique Ortiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sydney Sabóia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Vitinho Tavares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Mraoliveira's zone, Sydney Sabóia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vitinho Tavares came out of the goal and Sydney Sabóia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rafa Linhares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36thth minute of the game Henrique Ortiz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mraoliveira's Vitinho Tavares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 37 played minutes Mraoliveira got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fábio Seco. After a defensive mix-up in Mraoliveira's zone, Sydney Sabóia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vitinho Tavares came out of the goal and Sydney Sabóia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sydney Sabóia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nilson Branco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Henrique Ortiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitinho Tavares having to interfere. Vitinho Tavares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrique Ortiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Cauan Nogueira kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Celsinho Tande sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mraoliveira's Vitinho Tavares didn't even have to move. Henrique Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sydney Sabóia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vitinho Tavares having to make a save. Rafa Linhares struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Charles Trancoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mraoliveira. 84 minutes into the match, Nilson Branco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Charles Trancoso. Gira EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nilson Branco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Sydney Sabóia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sydney Sabóia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Vitinho Tavares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute Henrique Ortiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitinho Tavares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Despite being the better team, Gira EC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
