Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) S.E. Bento XVI's Víktor Veiga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Doni Figueiredo came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the S.E. Bento XVI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doni Figueiredo couldn't finish the play. Durval Souto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristóvão Castro in the 12th minute of the match. Doni Figueiredo took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tony Meira. Tony Meira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 18th minute, Agostinho Tavares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ULTRADEMOLIDOR PI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. A collision led to ULTRADEMOLIDOR PI getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Cauã Bertassi hit a great ball. Víktor Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Meira having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Agostinho Tavares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tony Meira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Víktor Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as S.E. Bento XVI's Víktor Veiga slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tony Meira. That made the score 3-1 after 48 minutes of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristóvão Castro was the one to do the kick off. Víktor Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Meira having to interfere. Durval Souto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristóvão Castro's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Cristóvão Castro struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Durval Souto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ULTRADEMOLIDOR PI. In the 73rd minute Cristóvão Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Durval Souto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Durval Souto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomé Barbosa in the 75th minute of the match. Tony Meira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Víktor Veiga in the 79th minute of play. Ramiro Recife charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramiro Recife the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 80 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ULTRADEMOLIDOR PI! In the 81st minute there was a penalty for S.E. Bento XVI. Oséas Lopez stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tony Meira. 4-1. In the 87th minute Doni Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Meira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cristóvão Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tony Meira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Víktor Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. S.E. Bento XVI's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
