When Claudinei Carneiro fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grëmio FBNH's protests and gave Claudinei Carneiro a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Daki Pro Bar Fc's zone, Cemal Tezalp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cido da Silva came out of the goal and Cemal Tezalp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cemal Tezalp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Turgay Tutku could shoot a difficult shot in the 34th minute, which Cido da Silva however easily saved by the left post. Cícero de Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 36th minute Claudinei Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cido da Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Turgay Tutku got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cemal Tezalp in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cido da Silva, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some careless play in the Daki Pro Bar Fc defense, Turgay Tutku kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cido da Silva. The Daki Pro Bar Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cido da Silva should have stopped the shot. When Turgay Tutku came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Grëmio FBNH fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Turgay Tutku couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
