Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Noel Carneiro took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Daki Pro Bar Fc's Cléber de Moraes got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Cido da Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cafu Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manoel Botelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Cido da Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cido da Silva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manoel Botelho's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Edu Freire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, C.A.São Simão's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Edu Freire fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Zé Paulo Rodrigues made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Edu Freire sent off a good shot on target. Cido da Silva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manoel Botelho's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Diguinho Sena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. C.A.São Simão's Manoel Botelho got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manoel Botelho was the one to do the kick off. Cido da Silva made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Diguinho Sena sent off a good shot on target. After 55 minutes, Anísio de Alcântara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A.São Simão and the Daki Pro Bar Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. Manoel Botelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Cido da Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Noel Carneiro scored 2-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zé Paulo Rodrigues, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 69 minutes into the match, Edu Freire notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of C.A.São Simão's Zé Paulo Rodrigues. Zé Paulo Rodrigues was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edu Freire in the 78th minute of play forced C.A.São Simão's goalkeeper Zé Paulo Rodrigues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute Manoel Botelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cido da Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 83 played minutes Daki Pro Bar Fc got a freekick which was hit by Noel Carneiro. Diguinho Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Cido da Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, C.A.São Simão's Manoel Botelho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cido da Silva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diguinho Sena got free with Cido da Silva in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zé Paulo Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noel Carneiro in the 96th minute of play. Daki Pro Bar Fc's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
