In a very dangerous position, a player in Lustosa fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 7th minute. Penalty! An unexpectedly hard shot by Régis de Toledo in the 18th minute of play forced Pageu's goalkeeper Daniel Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amauri Mineiro in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juninho Lima prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Régis de Toledo had several of the Pageu's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 27 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Daniel Fernandes as he didn't even see the shot coming. Juninho Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amauri Mineiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After 38 minutes of play, Lustosa's Álvaro Cearense made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Fernandes was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Álvaro Cearense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Régis de Toledo made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Robinho dos Santos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pageu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lustosa the free kick. 54 minutes into the match, Pageu's goal looked a bit too open when Álvaro Cearense came free, but Daniel Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Álvaro Cearense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Fernandes having to interfere. Álvaro Cearense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Daniel Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 4-1 became the score in the 73rd minute when Régis de Toledo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Régis de Toledo hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, Pageu's goal looked a bit too open when Régis de Toledo came free, but Daniel Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 82 minutes, Rafa Brito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pageu and the Lustosa players grew even worse after the yellow card. Daniel Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Régis de Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, Álvaro Cearense notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Pageu's Daniel Fernandes. Daniel Fernandes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Amauri Mineiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lustosa walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
