Galaticos F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 25 de Outubro the free kick. Lúcio Quirino might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elder Luz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lúcio Quirino ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in 25 de Outubro's zone, Matías Tasso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnaldo Cardozo came out of the goal and Matías Tasso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Geovani Linares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Cardozo having to interfere. Geovani Linares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of 25 de Outubro booed when Galaticos F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matheus Baiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, 25 de Outubro's Natã Trigo tried to score from far away in the 42nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Elder Luz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lúcio Quirino in the 45th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adhemar Arce in the 47th minute of play forced Galaticos F.C's goalkeeper Elder Luz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matías Tasso was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adhemar Arce got free with Elder Luz in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lúcio Quirino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Elder Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elder Luz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lúcio Quirino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Doni Gaspar hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Elder Luz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adhemar Arce went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 76 minutes into the match, Geovani Linares notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of 25 de Outubro's Arnaldo Cardozo. Arnaldo Cardozo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Elder Luz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lúcio Quirino, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 94th minute, Matías Tasso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Matías Tasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
